《盤古大陸：地幔對流》展覽概念來自現今地球七大洲結構以前的盤古大陸，指整個地球只有一片陸地的現象。而地幔對流則指地殼移動的原因，地殼下的地幔自古不斷流動，令地殼斷裂，終於把盤古大陸分割七地。展名意指眼見的個體，其實都不真正自立。自不能追溯的歷史開始，人就受世界影響，一切皆有脈絡，有跡可循。

作為一個藝術團體，五人創作有各自的意念與形式，當中的藝術創作並未被現有的界線所限，反而在日常中互相牽連。是次展覽分為六部分：起首五位藝術家會先放置「常設」作品，再由各人輪流主持展覽。先由第一位藝術家回應另外四位的「常設」作品，隨後第二位再回應第一位的作品，第三位回應第二位的作品，如此類推，同時主持藝術家會展出個人作品。最後部分則會是藝術家們經歷了五個時段後的總結展。

觀眾可先從各人的個展了解藝術家的創作意念，但個展其實並非表現個體，而是呈現各自形成繼而碰撞的陸地。當中的變化和對話展現了成員間的思考脈絡和互相拉扯的張力，持續的共存就是「業生」自身的證明。

“PANGEA: Mantle Convection” stems from Pangea, the supercontinent which existed long before the current seven continents of the Earth. Mantle convection is the reason for the plate movement. Mantles flow and convect continuously under plates creating powerful energy which split Pangea into seven continents. The exhibition name points out the false perception that all individuals are standalone. Humans have long acted as receptors of the world since antiquity.

As an artist collective of five, each artist has particular points of interests and sets of practices, which all intertwine with each other daily, instead of being separated by categorization or differentiation. The exhibition consists of six parts: all artists show “permanent” works as a preface, then each of them will host the exhibition in turn. It begins with Artist 1 responding to the “permanent” works with his/her own, then artist 2 responds to the works of artist 1, and artist 3 responds to the works of artist 2, and so on. Simultaneously, all artists will show their personal works on top of the responses. The last part of the show is a concluding group show having gone through the previous five stages.

Audiences can firstly grasp the objectives of each artist through their solo shows. Despite that, the solo shows do not present individuality, instead plates which form on their own and clash with each other. The thought processes and back-and-forth among the collective are showcased within the shifts and conversations throughout the exhibition. “Ipseng” has manifested itself throughout the continuous co-existence of its members.
